Charm Madness : Week 1 Giveaway Post

Hi friends!  I apologize for not getting this posted earlier today.  I just got back from Sew South today and believe it or not, only spent about 10 minutes on my computer in the last 72 hours!  I had a total blast, but that deserves a post all its on later this week.

Anyway, I hope that you've been enjoying the Charm Madness Blog Hop so far.  I think this past week has been a great start - beautiful and easy projects!

  9. My favorite way to use charms is in quilts - I've used them to make half square triangles or snowball blocks, but I've also used them just plain to make simple charm quilts.

  15. I love using charms for quilts...small little doll quilts, table toppers, and wall hangings, and I just finished a lap-sized cuddle quilt using only 4 charm packs and some yardage for the binding. I love charm packs!! Thanks for the chance!

  35. Believe it or not, I've never made anything with charm packs - my love of quilting is new-found. I've got a project I've been planning, though. I'd like to use a charm pack to make a scrappy book sling - its like a book rack to go on the wall beside a child's bed with a sling of fabric that goes between the front and back rods on a double curtain rod. I think it could be really cute!

  75. I love using the charms for the sew, then cut, then sew again designs. Then they become pillows, quilts, tablerunners, whatever. A quick and rewarding way to sew!

  76. I love using Charms for quick smaller projects. Mostly, I love trying out a design line without having the major investment as with other pre-cuts or bundles.

    I'm making the sewing machine cover; then adapting the pattern to make my Mom a 4 slice toaster cover, that will go nicely with the placemats.

  131. I have to say that my favorite thing to make with charms is a brand new piece of fabric.....which will urn into 1 unique something. A tote, a baby quilt, clothes. It's a one of a kind even if you use the same package of charms the way you lay them out would be different from my way!
