Blocks - We will be making 12 blocks. Our kits will make this with 20 prints plus white sashing and block backgrounds. A selection of 20 fat quarters (or more for additional variety in your blocks) would be appropriate for this quilt. (For some prints we will use only a fat eighth, while others do require a fat quarter to complete the block. Having the full FQs will allow for scraps and cutting errors.)
Background & Sashing: 2 yards solid background (kits will use white); cornerstone blocks will come from leftover block fabric
Inner Border: 5/8 yard
Outer Border: 1.5 yards
Binding: 0.5 yard
Backing: 4 yards (pieced horizontally across the middle)
