Twice the Charm Shoo Fly

Hi!  I've been happily sewing away since getting our power back post storm. :-)  I just finished piecing the charm pack shoo fly block quilt and am currently debating on whether or not to add a white border.  Right now it's right at 40 x 52.  Should I add a small white border (maybe 3") or quilt as is?  I'd love to hear what you think...

    I'd put a border on it. I just made a similar quilt and put a border on it.(I called it my Lifesaver quilt because it's for children and I thought it looked like Lifesavers).

    I think a border would finish it off nicely. I would recommend the same width as what your individual blocks are or half again as large. So a 4 inch block would get a 6 inch border. Make sense? (Not an expert mind you!)
