Coming Soon: Ruby
Happy weekend!
I just wanted to formally introduce you all to Ruby ....
We saw pictures of Ruby by Bonnie & Camille after she was introduced at Quilt Market and loved the whole line! We ordered the full collection as well as charms and jelly rolls. Unfortunately, we have to wait until October! :) Are you as excited about this one as we are?! You can see more Ruby goodness on Camille's blog here.

Coming Soon!
Hello, hello!
Several months ago, we tried to order some Bella charm packs in White and Snow, but they were backordered. We got our shipping notice today and we expect these to be in the shop early next week! These are great to pair up with a charm pack from your favorite collection ... less cutting = more fun! (See this great charming pinwheel quilt in the Bake Shop. :)
We'll post an update here when they are available in the shop.
Speaking of the shop, we fell in love with wayyyyyy too many collections that were previewed at Market. (We didn't make it to Market this go round, but we saw the goods in our rep's email.) Wow! We've ordered lots of great stuff for October, which means you'll be getting great deals as we make room for all the new loveliness. In fact, we'll be adding 145 bolts from 10 new lines to the shop in the coming months. I will share some sneak peeks with you soon. :-) We've already started making some great deals available ... Innocent Crush and Weekends are now only $6 a yard!
Thanks for stopping by today. I'll be back tomorrow with another Customer Spotlight :)

Patterns + New Fabric
Hi all! Just popping in to share a few things with you ....
I updated the "Tutorials and Patterns" page on the blog. I've linked up the tutorials I've posted here as well as some free patterns that Moda has available for some of the collections that we are carrying. I think my favorite pattern is the one for the City Weekend collection. Check it out.
Speaking of collections, a couple of weeks ago I told you about how we were able to offer small quantities of City Weekend and Spirit at a great price ... just $7/yard! Well, I am excited to share that we're getting in two more collections that we'll be able to offer in the same way - great price, but limited stock. We've got 12 prints each from Punctuation by American Jane and Pure by Sweetwater on the way. We expect to add these to the shop early next weekend. Of course, I will update you here. :)
We also ordered Kate Spain's new line, Terrain. This one has the prettiest colors and if you are fan of her collections, you'll love this one too. We'll all have to wait until September for this one. ;-)
Also we've got our eye on Ruby. If you loved Bliss, Ruby will surely be coming to live with you! If you've been following Camille's blog, you've seen sneaks of it. I am not sure when it will be available - I think sometime this fall - but we're planning to order it when our rep comes around with samples!
That's all for now ... Happy Sewing!

Happy Weekend!
The weekend is here! We're getting some chillier and rainy weather this weekend ... perfect for hanging out in my sewing room. :-) What projects are y'all working on this weekend?
How are those pinwheels coming along? I will share an update on my progress tomorrow. :)
We did get our patterns in the shop and our Flurry precuts came in as well (beautiful red, aqua and green prints)! We also ordered some new bolts today ... we'll be getting small collections of both Sugar Pop ...
As soon as it ships, I will show you some sneaks of the prints we'll be getting. :-)
We also have a few prints at the end of the bolt ... Fandango Sarabande Sand, Fandango Alhambra Azul, and Bliss Medallion Scarlet and they are listed in the Etsy store if you are interested in snapping one up. We also have one Bliss Medallion Bundle left ...
And speaking of some Fandango prints, we added some new bundles in the Ole and Celadon colorways.
That's the latest for now - thanks for stopping by! We'll see you tomorrow with some pinwheels :-)

Coming Soon ...
Hello, hello! I hope you are all having fun with your pinwheels (and remembering to spin them in the same direction! :-)
We got our shipping notice that a few of the patterns we ordered are on the way. Here's the first of several that we will be adding to the shop.
I've been thinking about making a Christmas tree skirt for a very long time now ... and since we'll be getting in two awesome Christmas lines, I thought it might be a good idea to carry a pattern. One thing I like about this is that you could make them in several sizes and use as table toppers/runners as well. Bonus!
Speaking of Christmas ... our precuts for Countdown to Christmas are in and our Flurry precuts just shipped as well.
I love the Schnibbles quilt patterns ... so cute and CHARM FRIENDLY! State Fair looks really fun, and is headed our way. (This one may be good to use up some of your larger scraps as well.)
We also got this fun pattern from Me & My Sister Designs. It's called Maggie Mae. I am imagining this in those awesome Summer House prints and think it would look great in so many different fabric lines or even a scrappy stashy version. (Don't let those squares on point scare you ... tilt your head to the side ... its just rows! :)
Which one do you like best? What projects have you been thinking about making, but need just the right pattern to motivate you?
We're expecting these patterns & the Flurry precuts very soon - hopefully by the end of the week - as soon as they hit the doorstep, I will alert you that they are available. :) We've also ordered Bella Solids Charm Packs in Snow and White Bleached, which should be in soon as well. These are a great way to jumpstart your projects by skipping the cutting and getting straight to the good stuff ... the stitching!
Thanks for stopping in! Happy Sewing! :)

Random Updates
Happy St. Patty's Day! Hope you're not getting pinched! :)
I wanted to share some shop news ... we've gotten in more Bella Solid Snow and we got a pretty Essential Dot called Sunshine. Lovely, no? It's really pretty with the Tea Garden prints as well.
We also just ordered some patterns to add ... and I am very excited to get those. As soon as we get a shipping notification on them, I will share more details. So that is coming soon!
Did you know that most of our orders get shipped out the same or next day?! If you need it quick, we can help. :) Also, this weekend is the last weekend of the sale on Weekends (ends 3/20).
I have several projects I am planning to share with you soon ... going to make this bag, share my shoo-fly charm quilt as a tutorial, have an idea for a twist on the shoo-fly block (going to test it out this weekend), and a few other "charming" projects for you. And ... at your request, I will be using some Flurry this weekend to get ready for week two of the Pinwheel Quilt Along! :-)
See you soon!

The Latest (and Suggestions Anyone?)
Hi everyone! We are so excited to tell you that we met with our Moda rep tonight and placed a few orders for some LOVELY fabric that will making its way to our shop shelves in just a few short months. We had gotten an email with some PDF files of the upcoming collections and both my mom and I were so excited over two lines in particular ...
This one is Sophie by Chez Moi. (I'm already thinking about framing that bunch of flowers in a hexagon block! haha)
And this one is Summer House by Lily Ashbury.
Aren't they just gorgeous?! Which one do you like better? We've ordered some precuts and yardage for both ... Summer House is supposed to arrive in July and Sophie is slated for August. Seems like a long time to wait, huh? :-)
We also loved the pretty florals in the Dogwood Trail Collection. These fabrics are the newest in Moda's Collections for a Cause and this line supports the National Quilt Museum in Paducah. We've ordered precuts and yardage, which are slated to arrive in July as well.
We also ordered more Bella Solids Snow (a beautiful cream and great match to Kona Snow or Bone) as well as a pretty Essential Dot called "Sunshine" to coordinate with the Tea Garden prints we are already carrying.
We'd love to hear which one(s) of these you are most excited about! We're also planning to add some patterns to the shop, but we need your help ... what would you like to see most? Patterns for bags? Patterns for quilts? Patterns using charms or fat quarters, etc? Do you have a favorite pattern you'd love to see us carry? Kits - for bags or quilts or both? Please tell us what you think! We've got a little prize to share and we'll do a random drawing from all the comments on this post (one entry per person please) and post a winner on Saturday. :) Thank you in advance for sharing your thoughts with us.
We appreciate you stopping by ... we have lots more to share this week, so stay tuned!
