Hey friends!
It's that time again when we are getting ready to meet with our Moda Rep to select collections for the shop. It's totally crazy, but we're already picking the 2013 holiday collections (as well as, ahem, Happy-Go-Lucky - totally a given that we'll carry that line!). We'd love to know what you'd love to sew with.
Check out the Moda Catalog here and tell us what you think in the comments. I'll select a winner and post a winner on Sunday, 1/27/13 for a little prize!
Thanks in advance for your feedback! We really do consider your feedback when we sit down with our rep. We appreciate hearing which collections you'll likely stash and sew with, including any specific prints or colorways you'd love to see.
p.s. Not that I really think I have to say this, but this post and request for your feedback isn't meant to open the door to negative comments about a designer's collection. Please don't bash anyone's art - if a collection isn't your personal style, just don't say anything about it. Thanks for keeping it positive around these parts! :-)
Wow, lots of choices! I really like Aspen Frost and In From the Cold for the Holidays. I also like Shades of Black and Happy Go Lucky! Yummy!
ReplyDeleteKate Spain's Christmas collection, Boo Crew from Sweetwater and Happy Go Lucky are my favorites :)
ReplyDeleteI like Baby Jane! And for Christmas I like Winter's Lane. Happy Go lucky is a great choice!!
ReplyDeleteHalloween - Sandy Gervais, Sweetwater and Three Sisters
ReplyDeleteChristmas - Kat & Birdie, French General, Kate Spain & Basic Grey.
Yes, Happy Go Lucky
I couldn't get your link to load, so searched thru google - I like the Aspen Frost.
ReplyDeleteMy favorites were: In From the Cold - Kate Spain, Esprit De Noel - French General, and Boo Crew - Sweetwater. But I do like Happy Go Lucky too, especially the new honeycomb pre-cut!
ReplyDeleteI like the first three christmas ones, the Boo crew - which is a surprise but it is Sweetwater, and happy go lucky. It must be so fun to order in advance of the seasons like this.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, there are so many wonderful lines coming out. I absolutely love Happy Go Lucky by Bonnie & Camille (definitely on my "to buy" list!), and also Boo Crew by Sweetwater and Winter's Lane by Kate & Birdie (that is a "new to me" designer - and I really love their collection!)
ReplyDeleteI love In From the Cold, Happy Go Lucky and Boo Crew!
ReplyDeleteWintergreen, Shades of Black, and Icicle Kisses were my favorites...but so many beautiful fabrics!
ReplyDeleteAspen Frost, In From the Cold, The Boo Crew, Shades of Black, Baby Jane, Happy Go Lucky are all on my must have list.
ReplyDeleteWow! They are all beautiful, how do you choose? I like Sweet Baby Jane and Happy Go Lucky along with all the others!
ReplyDeleteThere are so many choices, but I would have to go with In From the Cold, Joy Batiks and Icicle Kisses.
ReplyDeleteOf course, Boo Crew, Happy Go Lucky and Shades of Black!! Wow, how will we ever choose. I'll need a second full time job.
ReplyDeleteOoh tough choices!!
ReplyDeleteI love Winter's Lane, In from the Cold, Shades of Black and Happy Go Lucky.
Good luck deciding - so much pretty!
Winters lane and sprit de Noel are gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, LOVE Winter's Lane and Baby Jane. Aspen Frost and Happy Go Lucky are really nice too. :)
ReplyDeleteI love Happy Go Lucky!
ReplyDeleteWow, that catalog is awesome. I love Winter's Lane -- so different from things I've seen before. I would also love to own some Breezy Batiks and some Shades of Black.
ReplyDeleteI could browse that catalog for hours! My favourites from a first glance through are Winters Lane, In from the cold, Baby Jane, Happy go Lucky and Flats.
ReplyDeleteAspen Frost, Posh Pumpkin, Boo Crew and Baby Jane!
ReplyDeleteI like Baby Jane and In From the Cold!
ReplyDeleteI really like Winter's Lane...and the honeycomb precuts are pretty awesome, too!
ReplyDeleteI like the breezy batiks, the colors pop, aspen is nice fall colors and the last page of solids for fill ins are good. Thanks for viewing the new color lines
ReplyDeleteI loved Winter's Lane, Shades of Black, Baby Jane, Happy-go-lucky and Flats.
ReplyDeleteaspen frost (the music on blue is singing to me)... in from the cold is begging to be made into a snuggly quilt (especially the cups on juniper)... i wouldn't buy all of the posh pumpkins line, but some prints, like 17739 21 wheat could definitely find their way into my stash. i'm not really into halloween at all, but it's sweetwater, so some of boo crew might also wander into my stash. the little monster guys on purple? love. my other must have is flats. but i have three little girls, so that's no surprise!!
ReplyDeleteBoo Crew is fab! I love how it softens the usually bright purples and oranges of Halloween. And you can't go wrong with including text prints either! I also really like Baby Jane. You could certainly use it for baby or children's projects, but its sophistication makes it just as appealing for adults.
ReplyDeleteIn from the cold is adorable!!!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE Winter's Lane. I would use that fabric all year 'round.
ReplyDeleteBoo Crew, Baby Jane, Shades of Black....Need to make room on my shelves !
ReplyDeleteWinters Lane
ReplyDeleteWintergreen
Posh Pumpkins
The Boo Crew
Baby Jane
***Happy Go Lucky*** I WANT THE WHOLE COLLECTION! NOW!
Winter Green by 3 sisters & Esprit De Noel
ReplyDeletehere's my 2 cents:
ReplyDelete- Aspen Frost by Basic Grey
- In from the Cold by Kate Spain
- The Boo Crew by Sweetwater. Love those little monsters!
Oh my~ such fun choices! I don't know how you can limit it! LOL I love In from the Cold and Winter's Lane. And also Sandy Gervais's Halloween one, and Happy go lucky is a definite winner. Thanks for allowing me to dream! ;-)
ReplyDeleteMarshmallows (In from the cold) is my favorite! Also really like Esprit de Noel (love anything by French General), Breezy Batiks (love bright colors), Flats (what a cute idea!), and Aspen Frost.
ReplyDeleteI'm digging winters lane and the hexie precuts...beckymac1 at hotmail dot com
ReplyDeleteI will definitely be looking to buy some prints from the Boo Crew. I also loved the first winter collection (sorry, already forgot what it was called) and the happy go lucky and honeycomb. I don't think you can go wrong with any of them though!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is Winter's Lane.
ReplyDeleteI really love Winter's Lane and Baby Jane (and Happy-Go-Lucky obviously!). Have fun choosing!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you already know that Happy Go Lucky is the bomb! I also really liked Shades of Black and Baby Jane :)
ReplyDeleteI love the Basic Grey line and Kate Spain's as well. And how stinkin' cute is The Boo Crew by Sweetwater?
ReplyDeleteI like Winter's Lane, Nature's Christmas and Boo Crew!
ReplyDeleteI think Winter's Kane is amazing!! I love that the farbic design works across the entire width - I would certainly be at the top of my Wish List! I also like Boo Crew and many of the prints from Shades of Black (I am a sucker for gray!). Good luck choosing :-)
ReplyDeleteWinter's Lane, of course (hate typos!!)
Deleteoooh that Winter's Lane. It's festive, but it doesn't scream "You can only put me out at Christmas!" And it's a bit different from everything else that's out there right now. Posh Pumpkins is cute, too.
ReplyDeleteModascapes could be good for quilt backs, maybe. I also like Shades of Black and LOVE Baby Jane. I could see myself buying some yardage of that. :)
That was easy...Winter's Lane! It's got the classic combination of aqua-ish blues with red and some grays & creams. Looking forward to the release of this fabric!
ReplyDeleteWow, ditto on Winter's Lane! What a beautiful line! And In From The Cold. Ooh, Shades of Black is nice! A different change from their usual lines, that's for sure! Happy Go Lucky, Baby Jane too. Loved getting a peek of what's to come!
